Week of 4/28





This week:

Language Arts: Students will finish reading Specter Bridegroom. They will also work on diagramming sentences with predicate nominatives in them. There will be a quiz.


Science: This week, students will learn more about blood flow, and arteries and blood type. 



History: The fighting continues. Students will begin work on the timeline. Students will present their Signers.

WEEK OF 4/21

TISSUE ALERT!!!!!
We received some tissues this week but can still use more to finish the year out. Any donations are welcome.



This week:

Language Arts: Students will finish reading Rip Van Winkle. They will also work on diagramming sentences with predicate nominatives in them. There will be a quiz.



Science: This week, students will learn more about blood flow, and arteries. 



History: The fighting continues. Students will begin work on the timeline.

WEEK OF APRIL 13

TISSUE ALERT!!!!!
We are down to one box of tissues in the classroom. Any donations are welcome.


GLUE STICK ALERT!!!!!
We are down to 15 glue sticks in the classroom. Any donations are welcome.


This week:

Language Arts: Students will begin reading Rip Van Winkle. They will also work on diagramming sentences with predicate nominatives in them.



Science: This week students will dissect a pig's heart on Monday. Actually, I will do the dissecting!  Next, they will review of the anatomy of the heart and the functions of the cardiovascular system. There is a quiz on Thursday.



History: The fighting begins with the battles at Lexington and Concord and Bunker Hill.

WEEK OF APRIL 7th

AIMS TESTING

Monday April 7- Thursday, April 10

PLEASE BE SURE YOUR CHILD ATTENDS SCHOOL ON THESE DAYS

AIMS will be in the mornings of these days so please avoid any absences and please do not schedule any appointments during the mornings of these testing days.

This is the last year of AIMS testing as the state moves towards the Common Core PAARC


We are need of tissues. We have one box remaining




Science: Students will begin their study on the heart.


History: Students will read about Paul Revere and Lexington and Concord
