Language
Arts: Students will explore a new story: Rip Van Winkle. In grammar,
sentence diagramming and classification continues. One last week of
Spalding brings new words and new markings. Math: Students will complete a unit on measurements and shapes. The year ends with a review of multiplication facts.
Science: Students continue the unit on the respiratory system, studying the lungs and the airways.
History: Students will conclude a unit that looks at the first six Presidents of the United States.

Arts: Students will continue their journey in the Wonderful World of
Oz. In grammar, sentence diagramming and classification continues.
Spalding brings new words and new markings. Math: Students will continue a unit on measurements, learning how to divide and multiply.
Science: Students begin a unit on the respiratory system, studying the lungs and the airways.This is a three-week unit.
History: Students will continue a unit that looks at the first six Presidents of the United States.
