ELA: In language arts, students will continue the usual Spalding routine. In literature, students will read chapters 3-6 of Carry On, Mr. Bowditch. In writing, students will continue to work on the traits of a good writer. 

Math: Students will continue to learn how to apply the four operations to decimals.

History: This week, students learned about the causes behind the American Revolution, and next week they will discuss how the colonies were preparing for war and how they declared their independence from Great Britain. 

Science: In science, students look at how rocks are formed and the impact of weathering and erosion on rocks and the earth’s surface.
