Language Arts: Students will explore a new story: Rip Van Winkle. In grammar, sentence diagramming and classification continues. One last week of Spalding brings new words and new markings.

Math: Students will complete a unit on measurements and shapes. The year ends with a review of multiplication facts.

Science: Students continue the unit on the respiratory system, studying the lungs and the airways.

History: Students will conclude a unit that looks at the first six Presidents of the United States.
