VIRTUE OF THE MONTH: Friendship

Send me e-mails on how you see your child showing friendship.

Great Hearts Day was fun. Thank you to all who sent in supplies.

FIELD TRIP

The field trip to the capitol is set. I sent an email with the sign up link.

The next two weeks are amazing:

History: AMERICAN REVOLUTION!!!! We continue my favorite unit.  Over the next two weeks we learn about the beginning of the tension between the colonists and the motherland. Taxes, accusations, arguments, and anger begin to rule the day.

Science:   We continue the unit on electricity! This unit is full of experiments, hand-on activities, and exciting information.

Language Arts: We will continue to read Carry on Mr. Bowditch. This is an exciting book that fit directly into our colonial studies. In grammar we will continue diagramming. A challenge has been levied against us. Ms. Posner's sixth graders have challenged us to a diagramming contest. Stay tuned for details. Stop on by to see a discussion!

Math:  We begin 4B! The next two weeks are spent on decimals.
