3/1/15

The field trip to the capitol is set. I sent an email with the sign up link. Please be sure you are signed up.

The next two weeks are great!

History: AMERICAN REVOLUTION!!!! We continue by looking at the first battles of the Revolution. The Battle of Bunker Hill (which was actually on Breed's Hill) and Lexington and Concord. Students will continue to work on their portion of The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere, while looking at another great poem, The Concord Hymn.

Science:   Students will learn about the parts of a flower, how a flower reproduces, and how plants feed themselves. There will be a unit test on Monday the 9th. This unit is full of experiments, hand-on activities, and exciting information.

Language Arts: We will continue to read Carry on Mr. Bowditch. This is an exciting book that fit directly into our colonial studies. In grammar we will continue diagramming. Students will write an essay and practice editing marks. Stop on by to see a discussion!

Math:  The journey through decimals continues with addition and subtraction of decimals this week and multiplying and dividing decimals next week.
