BOX TOPS
It is that time again as we will
attempt to hit 5000 Box Tops this quarter!
We are in need of the following supplies: tissues, whiteboard
erasers, lined loose-leaf paper
This week we will study the following:
Language Arts: Students will continue to read The Magician’s Nephew. This book
is great for discussing characterization and already the students are
entrenched in the story. We will discuss vocabulary words and also discuss the traits
of the main characters. Please discuss with your child every night. PLEASE practice using the vocabulary words
at home!
There is no GYV this week as the students have their first full workload week back from break. GYV will continue next week.
In grammar, students will classify and diagram direct objects and indirect objects.

Science: We begin our unit on matter and chemistry. Look for exciting experiments and great activities.
History: We begin our Arizona History unit this week. This is an exciting unit and students will be given insight into our state.
